This privacy policy describes which personal data is processed on the TERNARY OÜ website at ternary.ee, and what happens to it.
[ Controller ]
TERNARY OÜ, Estonia. For anything concerning data processing, the contact is hello@ternary.ee.
[ Contact form data ]
The contact form asks for a name, an email address, a message and, optionally, an organisation name. It sends these as an email to hello@ternary.ee. Nothing is stored in a database or on the web server.
[ Server and technical logs ]
The web server keeps ordinary access logs, which include the IP address and the time of the request. To limit misuse of the contact form, a hash of the IP address (SHA-256) is stored temporarily rather than the address itself. If an email fails to send, the error message may contain the sender's email address.
[ Cookies and local storage ]
The site sets no cookies without consent. Your cookie choice is kept in the browser's local storage under the key ternary.consent. The full list is on the cookies page.
[ Analytics ]
The site currently carries no analytics or other third-party tracking scripts. If analytics is added, it will load only after your consent and will be described on the cookies page.
[ Purposes of processing ]
Contact form data is used only to answer your enquiry and for the correspondence that follows from it. Technical logs are used to operate the site, detect faults and limit misuse. The consent record is used only to remember your own choice.
[ Retention ]
Messages sent through the contact form remain in the TERNARY mailbox. The IP hash used for rate limiting is deleted automatically within an hour. The consent record stays in your browser until you clear it or the list of categories changes.
[ Third parties ]
The site is hosted with a service provider, and contact form messages are delivered over an SMTP service. There are no advertising, tracking or social media scripts, and the fonts are served from this same domain rather than from an external font provider.
[ Your rights ]
You have the right to ask which data concerning you is processed, and to request its correction or deletion. You also have the right to contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
